I’ve been making things to use and enjoy for as long as I can remember. My goal at Yates Woodwork is to build and restore beautful, functional living spaces for each and every one of my clients.

This starts with personalized design, using sketches, scale drawings, and samples to communicate and shape the details of the project. Long-lasting materials, honest craftsmanship, and careful installation follow.

I’m inspired by the resiliencr and elegance of many older homes. In my restoration work I maintain and recreate this, and in my contemporary projects I adapt timeless materials and techniques to new needs and styles.
